Preliminary task one: effects research

 As of now, I have a few ideas for effects that I may include in my final edit. 

SPECIAL EFFECTS:

-I would use this in the mirror scene to create an airy feel

-I would use this in the classroom scene to show Kevin's anxiety regarding his test results, and his anger and jealousy towards his classmate carol

This video is a similar concept to my one and I like the way they used the sound effects to show when she realized there was someone following her.

- I would use this in the chase scene to mark moments of suspense, like when Carol realizes Kevin is following her.

-I found this eye effect interesting as in my film I have an extreme close up where this may be useful.

-This video is about how to make a glitch after effect and that is something i may use when switching between the mirror and chase scene shots to provide a bit of distinction between the two.

After more research, I finally decided on using a light sweep effect because It goes well with the mirror motif, and the title is in fact "MIRROR MIRROR".
